Everything you need to start talking
A free Single 60s account lets you build a profile with photos, browse members, get daily suggestions and send a limited number of messages each day. VIP takes the message limit away and adds advanced search, chat rooms and a list of who likes you. VIP Plus adds exclusive matches and puts you first in other people's suggestions.
Everything works in the web browser on a phone, tablet, laptop or desktop computer, and the site can be added to a phone's home screen like an app. You do not need to download anything to start. Native apps for iPhone and Android exist in selected countries; if you would rather not install anything, the browser version does the same job.

How we find people who suit you
Each day the site puts forward members it thinks you might get on with. It looks at the age range you set, how far you are willing to travel, the kind of relationship you want (friendship, something long-term or something more casual), how recently people have been active, and lifestyle details such as whether someone smokes or drinks. Shared interests and beliefs count too, so it is worth filling in that part of your profile.
The suggestions are a starting point, not a verdict. You can browse beyond them at any time, and a short, friendly message usually does more than any algorithm. Our profile tips for over 60s explain what makes people write back.
Interests members add
Members choose from interests such as volunteering, cruises, handicrafts, family life, DIY, long conversations, documentaries, meditation and mindfulness, spiritual connection and, simply, romance and dating again. They make a first message much easier to write.
Checks that show you are real
Any member can take a free ID check and get a badge on their profile. If you would rather not upload a document, a member of the team can look over your profile and validate it instead, or you can do a short live video check with a moderator. The safety page lists every protection behind the scenes.
Badges
Badges such as Verified, Chatterbox, Heartthrob and Most Popular are earned by taking part. They tell other members you are genuine and active, which matters when people are deciding whether to reply.

Is there a Single 60s app?
You can use Single 60s in any web browser and add it to your phone's home screen, where it opens like an app. Native iPhone and Android apps are offered in selected countries.
Can I search for people near me without paying?
Yes. Free members can browse and set a distance for their suggestions. Advanced search filters, such as searching by city and distance together, come with VIP.
What happens if a VIP member messages me?
You can read it and reply, even on a free account. Free members can always answer VIP and VIP Plus members.
