One thing to read in the terms
Every dating site has terms of service, and few people read them. Section 5 of 60s Love's terms says that it "uses so-called animators to motivate users/members to communicate interactively. These are real people. However, the user / member is aware that he cannot meet the animators in real life." That is legal and stated openly, but it is worth knowing before you start a conversation, because it means some of the people you chat with there are not available to meet.
On Single 60s, profiles are screened as they are uploaded, and you can see who has passed a free ID or video check. Because the member area is shared with other sites on the HubPeople platform, you will also see members who joined elsewhere, of all ages; your age range and distance settings decide who you are shown.
How you find people
60s Love asks you to complete a survey and personality test and then suggests partners. Single 60s asks for less up front: your age range, distance, the kind of relationship you want and some interests. You can then browse straight away, and daily suggestions follow. If you enjoy questionnaires, the first approach may suit you; if you would rather see who is there and decide yourself, the second will.
Cost and free use
Both are free to join. On Single 60s, the free account covers your profile, browsing, daily suggestions and a limited number of messages each day, and you can always answer a VIP member who writes to you. Safety on any over 60s site
